Click Chicks Challenge:Handwriting

Lately I have tried to do my research on photography.
As a blogger having quality photos is important.
I'm slowly learning and trying
to implement the tips I learn.

The fun part is my hubby always had an
interest in photography,
he even took a class once in NYC.
So now it's a hobby
that we can do together.

That is why I love being a part of the

Hosted by Mrs.Tee@MrsTeeLoveLifeLaughter.com,
Krystal@krystalskitsch.com, and
It gives me a chance to slowly improve
on my photography skills, as well as
sharpen my eye for a good shot.
Plus the weekly prompts make it so easy & fun.

This weeks prompt is
Handwriting.
That was pretty easy for me.
I only had to look as far as my fridge
for the inspiration shot.
My three year old daughter is in preschool
and for the last couple weeks
what have they been practicing?
Handwriting.

Now there is a little story behind this photo.
Originally when my daughter brought it home
I was impressed, but...

I wasn't exactly sure if she had written this on her own,
or with the help of one of her teachers.
So I asked her and she said, "myself."
To be honest I had a hard time believing her since,
I've never seen her do this before and then,
there was that smiley face that looked
a little too perfect.

So being the crazy mama that I am
I just had to know so,
I asked the teacher the next day.

The teacher explained first they write
the children's names with a blue marker.
Then on their own the children will trace
over it with the pink marker.
The teacher then gives them a smiley face
for their good work.

After all of that I made sure to humbly
praise my daughter for her good work. Lol!

I hope you liked my photo. I'm looking forward to next week.

Be Blessed!

    1. Hi LeSha I haven't even started practicing with her at home yet. I guess if I did I would have known about her writing skills. Lol! The teacher told me to use that type of lined computer paper. I was thinking where in the world am I supposed to get that old type of paper. Thanks for visiting & commenting. ~Sherri

  2. That's very good writing skills for a 3 year old. In this age of computers and iPods, it is good to see our children learning the basic of handwriting. My son is 4 and he loves to write, but some of his letters are always written backward, when I try to correct him, he said I like to write like this Mamma. Now who am I to stop him.

    Peace to you.

  3. Hi Elissa thanks for visiting my blog. I appreciate your comment. That age is fun. If your son is anything like my daughter, he is trying his hardest to be independent. Here's a popular phrase I will hear her say, "I can do it!"
I just sit back and let her figure it out. ~Sherri
