What Wives Wear:Valentine's Edition

I wanted to start something new on my blog because
the fashionista inside me was dying to be revealed.

Not that I am an expert when it comes to style and fashion but
I have always had an eye for the latest trends and
I love putting together outfits.

Now that I am a wife and a mother my style has definitely
changed but I still like to remain stylish.

It's important to find that balance of fashion-forward
but age-appropriate clothing.

That's where What Wives Wear is born.
I want a place for wive and moms to express
their own personal style.

That includes dressy formal wear to casual weekend wear,
because that is what us wives represent.

I will be posting weekly photos of my favorite outfit of the week.
Now Ladies don't leave me alone I want you
to also send me your photos as well to godlifehappywife@gmail.com
(please put What Wives Wear in the subject)

Share your personal style while inspiring others.
Please use #WhatWivesWear on Twitter and Instagram.

  2. Very cute outfit - love this idea! Being a wife, taking my role as a Christian more seriously, and beginning my journey to become a youth Sunday school teacher, I definitely feel my sense of style changing, evolving into a more grown up, lady like attire. I hope this will give me some ideas!

    God bless,
    Megan

    1. Hi Megan thanks for visiting & commenting to my blog. I know what you mean about wanting to have an appropriate style when you take on new roles. That's something that I had a hard time with when I became a Christian. I wanted to be modest but also I wanted to be stylish. I think I'm slowly beginning to find a balance that works for my lifestyle. I also have different outfits that I wear for different settings. For example you may not wear the same outfit teaching Sunday school that you would wear on the weekends. This series is something new but I'm excited about it. I wan't to be able to feature different wives and their personal styles. I would love to feature you, if you would be willing to email me a photo of one of you favorite outfits. If you are interested I will give you more details. I am glad we were able to connect. ~Sherri

    1. Thanks for visiting & commenting. I actually first saw the shirt on Rachael from the show Big Brother and loved it. Then when I saw it at the mall one day, I knew I had to buy it. I wear it a lot though so it's getting a little worn out. I think it's time for a new one. ~Sherri

  4. I was expecting the least amount of help from online. However, the designer work was fantastic with me! They emailed me to assure they received the correct measurements.
