Black Marriage Day Event 2014

I was excited when I saw an opportunity
for my hubby and I to be a part of a photo album
celebrating black marriages.
Any time there is a chance to celebrate my
love and marriage, then I'm all in.
God has definitely blessed me to be married to
a wonderful man and I don't take any of it for granted.

When I saw the website Love.Work.Repeat were
accepting couples photos to put together the
Black Marriage Day Photo Album Of 2014
I quickly sent one in.

Once I saw the album all put together with
many of the beautiful black couples, I began to realize
that my husband and I were a part of something much deeper.

It wasn't simply about me being able to celebrate my marriage
but it is also about being part of a community of
happily married black couples that are blessed and proud.

That is something that truly needs to be celebrated and displayed!

The best part was I got a chance to share the album with
my 11 year old son and he enjoyed it.
He even said, "One day that will be me and my wife."
That is exactly the type of legacy of love
I want to leave for my children.

I'm thankful to the ladies at Love.Work.Repeat for
taking their time to put it all together.

Be Blessed!
