Today is week three of the Celebrate Love Series
and I wanted to do something a little different.
I wanted to share a little bit of my personal story.
The love of becoming a mother I will forever celebrate.
The love of becoming a mother I will forever celebrate.
I had the honor of guest posting at Pending Perfection.
In this post I share how becoming a mother changed my life.
***********
In my family order I am the youngest of three. I have an older sister who is thirteen years older than me, and my brother is eleven years older. They both are married with kids, so I have a total of six nieces and nephews that I love to death.
Before I had children of my own I always remember thinking “I don’t want any children. I have enough nieces and nephews that I can play with, and the best part is I can send them back home when I’m done.”
You can imagine the surprise when fast forward a few years and at twenty two and unmarried I was announcing “I’m having a baby!”

ReplyDeleteMeredith of course anytime. I was thankful that you asked me. Please let's keep in touch and let me know if I can support you in any way, and don't be surprised if I email you requesting you to guest post for my blog in the future. I'm glad we were able to connect. ~Sherri
DeleteI am also pending perfection but thank God for his grace and mercy because I would be in a world of trouble without him especially raising my two boys. They slowed me down and taught me valuable lessons about myself. God bought them into my life to make me calm and to think before I react; to make wiser decision and to be selfless instead of selfish.
ReplyDeleteMotherhood definitely changed me too...for the better. I thought I was selfless before kids, but nothing compared to what I became after. I learned to love in a way I had never loved before. Being a mother is one of the greatest blessings I've been given. I loved reading your post. #SITSBlogging
