About Me

My photo
Welcome my name is Sherri. I am a follower of Jesus. I have been blessed to be the wife to my best friend Markiel. I am a mother to my tween son Amari and my preschool daughter Sanai. By God's grace I have found true joy in serving my family in our home. Even amongst all the everyday craziness I know this where God has called me to be. I learn something new everyday. I also recently became a part time bible teacher at my daughter's preschool. So I have the best of both worlds.

Tribal Scarf Into A Vest:Tutorial

Shirt:Merona, Jeans:Old Navy, Scarf/Vest:Marshall's, Shoes:Target,
Sunnies:Old Navy, Earrings:Payless, Bracelet:DIY by daughter

I love wearing scarves and over the years
through gifts and thrifting I have built up my collection.

I haven't worn any of my scarves through the summer.

Since fall is right around the corner and the mornings and nights are getting cooler,
I think it's about that time to break them out.

Tying a scarf into a vest is super simple and takes no time at all.

Here is a fun way to wear your scarf and change up the look.

Step 1:
You must use a long rectangular scarf. It's easier to tie.

Step 2:
Bring the top two ends together to fold the scarf in half.

Step 3:
Now take the top two ends and tie a knot.

Step 4:
Open up the scarf to find the two arm holes.

This four step process is pretty simple.

If you need a video tutorial there are many
to pick from on You Tube.
Just search "making a scarf into a vest."

This week we were excited to have some new ladies join us.

Our first favorite look is by Ema.
Ema is sharing a beautiful printed top and midi skirt.

The pastel colors of the outfit match perfectly with the sunset.

Riva is sharing a leopard print jumpsuit.

The edgy jumpsuit has a feminine touch with
a thin black sash on the waist.

The best part is this is a diy outfit.
